Discovery: An early cropping variety which produces crisp, juicy, red dessert apples that are perfect eaten straight from the tree. They have a sweet yet sharp taste and are also excellent for juicing. Fruit ripens in late August
James Grieve: A mid-season, versatile apple that can be used for cooking or eaten fresh. The red flushed fruits are ready to harvest in early-mid September, when they are perfect for cooking but if left for longer the flavour sweetens, making them a delicious, crisp eating apple.
