Cornus alba (Red Barked Dogwood) 

Cornus alba has dark green leaves that take on bright red autumn colours. Small white flowers are borne in spring followed by white berries. The stems are a vivid red. Average height 6-8ft. Excellent for mixed hedging

Cornus alba 'Sibirica' (Westonbirt Dogwood)

This variety is very similar to cornus alba, but with brighter winter stems, so excellent for use as a specimen shrub

Cornus stolonifera 'Flaviramea' (Common of Yellow Dogwood)

Common Dogwood has bright yellow-green stems, so makes a good contrast if planted with Cornus alba. As with Cornus alba, the dark green leaves take on good autumn colours.

 

Cornus stolonifera 'Kesselringii' (Purple stemmed black Dogwood)

 

This is a truly stunning variety of dogwood with deep purple stems, that appear almost black in winter. The dark green leaves that take on bright red autumn colours.
