Hupeh Crab Apple. A Chinese Crab Apple tree with attractive white flowers produced from pink buds from May to June, followed by red fruits in July. It has a broad crown, giving it a small but spreading habit. The fruits can be made into delicious jelly, are highly decorative and an important food source for a multitude of birds and animals. Crabapples make perfect specimen trees and  are suitable for the smaller garden. They prefer moderately fertile, well drained soil. Average eventual height 20ft
