Tilia x euchlora is a conical tree with rounded dark green leaves that are lighter beneath. Clusters of fragrant, pale yellow flowers, that have a sweet scent are produced in July. This variety is a cross between Tilic cordata and dasystyla. Its foliage does not attract aphids therefore does not have the characteristic stickiness of other varieties.  Lime is a tall tree that makes a good windbreak or avenue tree. It will grow in most soils as long as they are not too dry, but prefers neither strongly acid or strongly alkaline conditions. The average height is approx 50ft
