Serbian Spruce has graceful sweeping branches and delicate,dark gree needles that are whitish on the underside, and it produces dark cones. The shape is conical and narrower than Norway Fir. Average height 40ft+. Serbian Spruce is tolerant of most soils, although prefers to be sheltered from cold, drying winds.

Bare root plants: These plants can be planted anytime between November and March. We keep our bare root hedging in tubs of damp compost at the nursery. If you are not planting your plants immediately then keep the roots damp (preferably in compost) and out the sun until you are ready to plant.
