Product Description
These tree ferns have a trunk of approx. 2ft - 2ft 4" tall. They will start to produce beautiful fronds over the late spring and summer. Ideal for containers or shady borders amongst hostas and ferns etc.
Tree ferns (Dicksonia antarctica) are impressive, hardy plants with elegant, spreading fronds, creating an eye-catching display. They are native to Australia and Tasmania and grow happily in our climate with some winter fleece protection. Also known as the 'Tree Fern Emporium' our range of tree ferns is one of the biggest in Oxfordshire.

What an amazing nursery!
I pre-ordered my Premium Tree Fern Dicksonia antarctica in February for my partner's birthday present, and was advised that they would be available for collection in May or June. Communication was excellent and we were thrilled to pick up the Tree Fern in May, as promised. It is magnificent (just fitted upright into the boot of our car). The accompanying notes on planting and care of the plant are brilliant, and the staff at Bunkers Hill are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. We live in Cheltenham, so it's a bit of a trek to get to the nursery, but we will choose this one over any other for its outstanding value-for-money, brilliant service, and fantastic plants.
