Product Description

These mature, pleached trees are perfect for creating an instant screen. They can be planted to form a hedge above a wall or fence, or used as a divider between two parts of the garden. Trim yearly in late summer.

 

Girth (circumference of trunk): 12/14cm.

Clear stem:1.5m

Size of head: 1.2(h) x 1.5m(w).

 

Hornbeam make an excellent hedge as they are easily clipped into a neat shape. The green serrated leaves form a dense screen over spring and summer. The brown leaves from the previous season are retained on the tree throughout winter, creating a year-round screen.
