An autumn-fruiting (primocane) raspberry that is one of the best heavy-cropping varieties. Produces an amazing crop of large sweet fruit that is dark red and is ready to harvest from late July until the first frosts. Autumn fruiting raspberries do not usually require support but it may help to grow them next to a fence or a sturdy post to tie them into if the stems start to flop.

Special attributes: High yielding variety - it is possible to get two flushes of fruit, an early crop from July followed by a large crop in autumn.
Care requirements: Incorporate organic matter into the soil before planting. Space plants approximately 2ft apart. Can be netted to protect birds from stealing the crop. Cut back hard in early spring and apply a generous mulch.
