A very high yielding blackcurrant that produces large, good flavoured fruit, which are easy to pick, in mid-July. Bushes are compact and mildew resistant. Fruits are suitable for desert or culinary use and freeze well.

Special attributes: Can be planted at a closer spacing of 1-2ft spacing and grown as a low, edible hedge.
Care requirements: Incorporate organic matter into the soil before planting. Space plants approximately 3ft apart. Can be netted to protect birds from stealing the crop. Some branches may become heavy when laden with fruit and require support.
