Welcome to Bunkers Hill Plant Nursery

We are pleased to welcome you to our old-fashioned plant nursery in Oxfordshire. We started it in 1992 with a few plants on the front lawn and it is now a thriving emporium of plants & trees of all sizes including many rare & unusual varieties. We now run it alongside our daughter Lucy & her husband Simon who have brought the nursery into the modern era with our website & social media.

We welcome all gardening enthusiasts with a huge selection of bare root stock in the autumn with many heritage fruit trees, spring bulbs, overs 200 varieties of roses, soft fruit, pleached trees and hedging. In the spring/summer the nursery is packed with bedding, vegetables, perennials, grasses, herbs. lavender, climbers & more!

All our staff have a wide range of horticultural knowledge and are always pleased to offer any help our customers may require. We strive to preserve the traditional values of nurseries past (sound; friendly advice; top quality plants; reasonable prices).

Our customers delight in walking down winding pathways of the nursery to see what tempting plants are around the corner, sitting under the apple tree with a cup of hot chocolate from our tearoom listening to the birds, exploring Old Walter's wildflower meadow, and having a chat with our team.
