Product Description
Common name: Filbert, Cobnut
This is a large, upright, deciduous shrub or small tree with heart-shaped mid-green leaves, reaching a height and spread of 8m (24ft) in 10-20 years.
Bears yellow catkins late winter early spring.
Produces edible hazelnuts in tubular husks ripening in autumn.
Average height 20ft+ (if left un-pruned).
Full sun/partial shade.
Hardy.
