Product Description
Common name: Cardoon
A relative of the artichoke, this giant perennial adds drama to the border with its deeply cut, silvery grey foliage and large thistle-like, purple flowerheads from June to September.
Great for the wildlife garden too with nectar and pollen for insects and seeds for the birds in winter.
Average height 6-7ft, average spread 3ft.
Full sun.
