Calamagrostis

Commonly know as feather reed grass, this elegant ornamental grass produces upright feathery flower plumes in the summer followed by golden seedheads in the autumn & winter. They are clump-forming grasses with narrow, arching leaves so useful for prairie-style planting or with late flowering perennials such as rudbeckias or echinacea.
