Hedging Planting Guide
Plant your hedging plants as soon as you can after purchasing them. If your soil is very wet, hard or frozen, delay planting until conditions improve. In the meantime heel-in your plants into damp soil or compost until you are ready to plant them. Bareroot hedging can be planted anytime between November and March.
Native Hedging: Prune 20% off the tops of the plants after planting to encourage bushy growth
