Product Description
Our native Hornbeam, an elegant deciduous tree, often used for hedging but it also a lovely specimen tree. The leaves are toothed and mid-green. Yellow male and greenish female catkins are produced in spring. It will retain its brown leaves over winter, proving a year-round screen. A great addition to the wildlife garden as it will provide food and shelter for many birds and insects, including moths, finches and tits.
