At Christmas time Bunkers Hill is transformed into a winter wonderland, with a forest of English-grown Christmas trees for you to explore & discover your favourite tree.
Choosing a tree from us is an exciting tradition which keeps people coming back year after year. This year we will have a one-way system in place so please park in the 'extra-parking' field & follow signs to the 'Forest'. Each tree is individually priced based on its height & shape.
The most popular variety is the Nordmann fir - a low-drop variety that holds it needles particularly well, just follow our hints & tips about how to care for it. This variety has thicker, less-spiky & slightly darker green needles compared to the traditional Norway Spruce.
For the trees that we re-wrap for you we use a net called bioxnet which is oxo-biodegradable which means it leaves no micro-plastics and can be put into your compost bin. It has a slightly sticky feel to it. Unfortunately the xmas trees that are pre-wrapped do not use this net as it is more expensive, especially when using on a grand-scale.

You can also choose a Xmas tree online for click&collect or delivery (in Oxfordshire).
Please see our selection below - we have a choice between premium-grade trees (bushy & conical) or standard-grade trees (these may be thinner or have characterful shapes).

Online we are offering cut or pot-grown Nordmann firs, however at the nursery we will have some Norway Spruce - either cut or ones you can dig up from our field. Their shapes tend to be more irregular so we are unable to offer then to people who haven't chosen it for themselves.
There is also the option of a potted Blue Spruce which is slow-growing but has beautiful silvery blue needles.

Delivery
Our delivery price is the same as normal so if you need other things this Christmas time, such as bird food, compost, fruit trees you can purchase them all and only pay the flat rate delivery cost to your postcode (click here to see cost)
We do our deliveries on Monday & Thursday - please add your preferred Monday or Thursday to your order.
*due to covid restrictions our delivery driver is unable to enter your home with your tree. If shielding please leave delivery instructions in your order's comments
