Product Description

2yr old bareroot tree. 

Common name: Medlar

An unusual fruit tree that produces white flowers in May and June, followed by edible brown fruit, ripening after the first frosts in November. The fruit has a delicious and unusual taste, and can be eaten straight off the tree when 'bletted' (very over ripe) or made into jellies.

Pollination: self fertile
