A very dense laurel that is more compact than 'Rotundifolia'.
The large, glossy green leaves are bronze tinted when young.
In April to May, upright spikes of white flowers are produced which contrast well against the foliage.
Forms a tall, wide, substantial hedge.
Shade tolerant.
Average height 8ft.
Prune mid summer when cool.
Plant 2-2.5ft apart.
