Product Description

1 bare root bushy plants approx 30-40cm tall

SPECIAL WHOLESALE RATE. Same price regardless of quantity purchased

Common Box is a compact, evergreen plant with dark green, glossy leaves, that is ideal for low edging around borders, where it can be kept at 1-2ft high - just prune to desired height in mid-summer in cool weather. Alternatively, Box can be left to grow as a taller hedge, which is effective as a screen. Box plants should be planted 6-8" apart to create a nice, dense hedge.  The growth rate is approx 4-6" per year.

Recommended planting distance: 6 per metre

Hardiness: Hardy

Growth rate: 4-6" per year

Suitable for: Low hedging, border edging, topiary

Features: Evergreen, dense

Bare root plants: These plants can be planted anytime between November and March. We keep our bare root hedging in tubs of damp compost at the nursery. If you are not planting your plants immediately then keep the roots damp (preferably in compost) and out the sun until you are ready to plant.
