A broadly columnar tree with rounded dark green leaves, blue-green beneath. It produces clusters of pale yellow flowers in July. Excellent as specimen trees or as avenue trees or part of a mixed hedge. Flowers attract bees. Average height 40-60ft (if left un-pruned). Full sun/partial shade. Hardy.

Bare root plants: These plants can be planted anytime between November and March. We keep our bare root hedging in tubs of damp compost at the nursery. If you are not planting your plants immediately then keep the roots damp (preferably in compost) and out the sun until you are ready to plant.
