Hyacinth prepared

Bulbs available from September - November

Winter flowering (prepared) hyacinths bloom in December and January. This is is because they have been prepared by chilling the bulbs during the summer to convince them they have experienced a full winter, making them flower early. After planting, place in a cool dark place for a few weeks before bringing them in to enjoy the heady scent when the flowers emerge.
