Product Description
Castor Little Owl Nesting Box- Made by Wildlife and Birdcare Nature Recovery Project CIC. Castor Bird Nesting Box is an open box for little owls. The wood is larch which is a natural 40 year lasting, water repellent wood. Made in the UK the wood is sourced from a UK FSC registered supplier. Castor Little Owl Nesting Box is designed to provide an attractive nesting site for little owl species.
Little owls don't build their own nests. They depend on the availability of tree hollows, owl nest boxes or farm buildings. Egg laying usually happens from the middle of April but can also be as late as May. The average clutch is 3 or 4 eggs.
