Christmas 2020

Trees, trees, trees

At Christmas time, Bunkers Hill is transformed into a winter wonderland, with a forest of Christmas trees for you to explore and discover your perfect tree. Choosing a Christmas tree from us is an exciting tradition which keeps people coming back year after year.

This year is going to be a bit different..

We are hoping to have the nursery open (if we are allowed) but will implement a one-way system using the 'wild flower meadow' area to display our forest of Christmas trees filled with magical fairy lights to keep our customer safe & socially-distanced. You can wander amongst them until you find your perfect tree!

We will also be offering the option to for click&collect or local delivery.

Hundreds of trees to choose from......

Our Christmas trees range from small 3ft trees right up to 13ft+ specimens, with a choice between traditional Norway spruces with bright green foliage or popular blue non needle-drop Nordmann Firs. If you want a tree to plant in the garden after Christmas there will also be a good selection of pot-grown trees available from early December.

Click here for our Christmas Tree hints and Tips.

Freshness guarantee: Our Nordmann low-drop trees should last well beyond Christmas if given the right conditions. If you have any problems please let us know before Christmas so we can put it right (we want you to have a special tree & come back to us year after year).

Reindeer Challenge 2020

After the success of the Pumpkin Hunt booking system, from the end of November, we are welcoming all children to take part in Bunkers Hill Reindeer Hunt 2020.

Father Christmas' reindeers are hiding around the magically star-lit nursery, and there is a prize and certificate for every child who can seek out Rudolf and his friends then work out the magical word. All the family are welcome to join in the festive fun.

All  proceeds going to the mental health charities Mind and Restore.

Cycle-athon 2020?

We tragically lost our son Jack in 2017 and Christmas is very difficult not just for us but also his good friends. Each Christmas time we have taking on the challenge of getting Father Christmas back to the North Pole - with help from our lovely customers, friends & family. By taking on this task we hope not only to raise funds for some incredible charities but also raise awareness of mental illness and suicide in young men.

Due to Covid we will not be doing our annual cycle-athon to get Father Christmas back to the North Pole as we feel that it is not safe to do so. However, if you would like to make a donation to Mind or Restore that would be greatly received as we know how much charities have been struggling this year and how this year is even tougher for those struggling with mental health issues.

If you would like to support us please follow the link above or make a donation when you pop by the nursery to choose your tree.
