Product Description
Common name: Globe Artichoke
A large, handsome edible perennial with deeply cut, grey-green leaves, white woolly beneath.
Large purple thistle-like, flowerheads with large bracts.
Eaten in bud as a vegetable.
Average height 6-7ft, spread 4ft.
Harvest June to September.
Full sun.
Hardy.
