Common name: Wallich's Wood Fern
A magnificent semi-evergreen fern, named after Danish botanist and plant hunter, Nathaniel Wallich.
Clusters of upright 'fiddleheads' unfurl to reveal large, arching shuttlecock fronds in yellow-green with contrasting black midribs and stems.
Average height 3ft, average spread 2.5ft.
Partial to full shade.
Hardy.
