A dwarf variety of architectural perennial with spiny, silvery-green leaves.
Branched stems bearing clusters of vivid steel-blue flowers surrounded by spiny bracts, are produced from June to August.
Self seeds and makes an excellent cut flower.
Average height 1ft, spread 1.5ft
Full sun.
