Symphoricarpos albus (Snowberry)

Snowberry is a deciduous shrub  small dark green leaves. It's most distinctive feature is it's snow-white fleshy berries that are produced in autumn, after the racemes of small bell-shaped pink flowers that are borne in summer. It forms a dense shrub, with arching branches and is ideal for an informal hedge. Snowberry is very tolerant of poor soils and exposed conditions and grows well in sun or partial shade.
