A reliable main crop onion. The onions have yellow skin and an excellent sharp, strong flavour.

In respect of customer service and satisfaction. I have tended to buy one product each year. So I can say as a family team they are unparaelled in a dwindling mail order garden nursery business the interesting bit, we moved to the North of Scotland three years ago think Alaska in terms of day light. These onions are better grown from to get a solid hold over winter..However on our sandy soil they will produce large hard onions next summer. They are ideal in this climate especially if the spring is cold and wet
