I just opened a bag today, and was very pleased with the product. It looked rich and perfect consistency for seeds and cuttings. No horrible lumps.

Melcourt compost
Always had the Humax (with sand) but had to find another alternative as it’s no longer stocked. I don’t like compost that is full of twigs and other bits of junk so I tried this one and was pleasantly surprised, the bags are slightly smaller and it’s a bit more expensive (like everything else) but it seems to be really good stuff, I will definately be ordering more in a few weeks.

Excellent compost
Great compost and most important is 100% Peat-Free. I used it for plants that I made from cuttings and they are gowing very healthy and strong.

Light compost that is excellent for growing seeds. Useful when adding it to clay soil - improves drainage.

Melcourt Sylvagrow peat free compost
The best peat-free I've found. Wish everyone would use peat-free. We can't afford to dig up any more peat!
