Product Description
Common name: Staghorn fern
An attractive fern that is grown as a houseplant in the UK.
It is an epihyptic fern so ideally grown mounted on wood or in a basket, in the wild they grow on trees.
They have two types of grey-green leathery leaves - one type is rounded and the other resembles the horns of a stag.
The flat rounded leaves are infertile and turn brown and papery with age. There role is provide stability for the fern.
Can reach heights of 4-6ft.
Partial shade.
Water frequently but allow to dry out between watering.
