Product Description
Common name: Sweet Almond
A spreading tree with fragrant pink or white blossom from February to March. The flowers are followed by velvety green fruits containing edible almonds, although these trees are primarily grown for their beautiful blossom.
- Average eventual height: 12-15ft
- Aspect: Full sun
- Hardiness: Fully hardy but needs a very sheltered position
- Special features: Spring blossom. Edible fruits. Good for bees. Self-fertile.
We have an excellent range of the smaller sizes of ornamental trees in stock throughout the winter. However for larger sizes (or in busy periods) we may have to order your tree in. Please allow a couple of weeks for this.
