Common name: Japanese Umbrella Pine
An unsual and slow growing, conical pine with red-brown peeling bark.
The narrow glossy dark green needles grow in whorls and take on a bronze tint in winter.
Produces cones.
Average growth per year is 6".
Full sun/partial shade.
Hardy.
