A hybrid Elm tree with excellent resistance to Dutch Elm diseases that was developed in the 1950's from a cross between the Japanese and Siberian Elm. A lovely ornamental tree with a broad, light canopy and narrow, oval green leaves turning gold in autumn. An important food source for butterflies and moths too. Average height 50-60ft. Full sun for best coloration. Hardy.'
