Product Description
Common name: Japanese horseradish or wasabi
A slow-growing perennial herb that is known for it's use in Japanese cooking.
It forms a clump of rounded, heart-shaped leaves on long-stalk.
It is the knobbly, rhizome under the ground that you harvest and can be grated to form a paste - used traditionally in Japanese cooking to give a sharp, spicy kick to meals.
