Common name: Michaelmas Daisy
Now re-classified as Symphyotrichum, but still commonly known as Asters.
Forms a low mound with stems bearing double rpink daisy-like blooms in autumn.
Loved by bees and a valuable plant for adding late burst of colour to the garden.
Average height 1ft
Full sun/partial shade.
Hardy.
