Also known as Peony Tulips due to their beautiful, bowl shaped flower, double tulips often have large flowers which are extremely long lasting. On a sunny day, the tulips petals open up, often reaching 10cm across, despite their relatively short yet strong stems. The short stems make these tulips ideal candidates for planting in containers.
