A spreading deciduous thorny shrub with rounded mid-green glossy leaves.
Masses of flowers are produced in April and May followed by yellow or yellow red flushed edible fruits.
Ideal for training against a north-facing wall.
Average height 3ft, spread 6ft.
Full sun/partial shade.
Hardy.
