Common name: Louisiana Iris
A cultivated variety of the Louisiana iris which are native to the coastal swamps of the US state of Louisiana which makes them ideal for boggy conditions or pond margins. 'Ann Chowning' has velvety, deep copper-red blooms from June to July.
