Common name: Sweet Gum
A broadly conical, deciduous tree with deeply divided, glossy leaves, turning purple then orange-yellow in autumn.
Leaves are followed by mace-like fruit clusters
Average height 18ft in 10 years (but can reach an eventual height of 80ft).
Full sun.
Hardy.
