Syn. 'Garnet'. A bushy perennial with narrow semi-evergreen leaves and dense clusters of elegant, tubular, wine-red flowers held on upright stems over a long period from June to September.
Average height 1.5ft.
Full sun/partial shade.
Hardy but will benefit from a thick mulch in autumn to protect the roots from the worst of the winter weather.
