Anemones  

Anemones are also known as Japanese Anemones or Windflowers. They are statuesque herbaceous perennials that flower in late summer, and carry their tall, arching stems of flowers right through into autumn. Anemones thrive in full sun, or partial shade, so are perfect for planting in the lee of a wall or a tree, that casts a little shade throughout the day. The flowers can be single or double and come in a multitude of subtle and striking pinks and whites.
