Product Description
Norway Spruce is well known as a Christmas tree, but also makes a dense, evergreen screen or windbreak. or a good specimen tree. It is a conical conifer with needle-like, dark green leaves and deep green cones that turn brown over time and hang from the branches. When planted as a specimen tree it will grow into a neat 'Christmas tree shape'. Average height 40-60ft (but slow-growing. Norway Spruce will tolerate partial shade, and windy conditions, and grows best on neutral to acid soils.

Bare root plants: These plants can be planted anytime between November and March. We keep our bare root hedging in tubs of damp compost at the nursery. If you are not planting your plants immediately then keep the roots damp (preferably in compost) and out the sun until you are ready to plant.
