Product Description

Common name: Portuguese Laurel

These mature, pleached trees are perfect for creating an instant evergreen screen. 

They can be planted to form a hedge above a wall or fence, or used as a divider between two parts of the garden.

Trim yearly in late spring/early summer.

 

Girth (circumference of trunk): 6-8 cm

Clear stem:1.8m

Size of head: 1.3(h) x 1.2m(w)

 

Portuguese laurel is slower growing than cherry laurel, and is ideal for creating a more formal hedge. 

'Tico' is a very hardy and drought-tolerant variety with a pink/bronze tinge to the new growth.

Red stems provide an attractive contrast to the evergreen foliage and creates year-round interest.

It can be easily trimmed into a neat, dense, evergreen screen.
