Polaris Steeple Shaped Bird Nesting Box is NEW for 2023 and forms part of our small nest box collection. Just like Wildlife and Birdcare's other habitat boxes we are known for our chunky rustic style, it's what makes us stand out in a crowd as our boxes are made in the UK, from larch sourced for a FSC UK forest. Our boxes are so well built by people with learning disabilities and the quality is excellent .
Polaris has a tall sharp roof, one side of the roof has two screws which are removed to clean the nest box, this is recommended each year. Simple unscrew and remove the lid panel and then re-attached when you have completed the clean.
This box has a 32mm entrance hole, perfect for smaller birds like blue tits. We router a hanging hole out the back of the box to help you hang this onto a tree or fence. Steeple is designed by ‘Sammy’ autistic designer. Our boxes are FREE from chemical and we leave it up to our customers to stain the box if they feel they need too. If you leave any of our boxes unstained Larch will naturally last 40-60 years and just weather.
