Common name: Pickerel Weed
An attractive plant native to the Americas with heart-shaped, green leaves and clusters of pretty blue, camassia-like flowers on upright spikes from July to September. Useful for adding vertical interest and late colour to the aquatic garden and a good wildlife plant for pollinators and emerging Damselfly and Dragonfly nymphs which use it to climb out of the water and dry out on.
