A very dense laurel that is more compact than 'Rotundifolia'. The large, glossy green leaves are bronze tinted when young. In April to May, upright spikes of white flowers are produced which contrast well against the foliage. Shade tolerant. Prune mid summer when cool.
Forms a tall, wide, substantial hedge.
Average height 8ft.
Plant 2-2.5ft apart.
