Common name: Black Elder
An upright bushy shrub with stunning black, divided foliage.
The leaves emerge green then turn black if they are in full sun.
Pink flowerheads in May to June are followed by glossy black fruit.
Average height 8ft, spread 4ft.
Full sun or partial shade.
Hardy.
