Product Description
Acer campestre is a native British, medium sized tree. The new leaves emerge with a flush of red, then turn a bright green over summer, eventually taking on vivid yellow and golden autumn colours. Small yellow flowers are produced in spring, followed by the distinctive winged fruits. Field maple coppices strongly and is suitable for hedges which can be clipped (prune in winter. Tolerates exposed and coastal conditions well.
