An unusual and useful small tree or large shrub with a compact, upright habit.
It produces an abundance of pretty white flowers in May, followed by large juicy, smokey blue-black berries that are good for baking.
The rounded leaves turn a stunning medley or oranges and crimsons in autumn.
Great for bees and birds. Average height (if left un pruned) 9-12ft.
Full sun/partial shade.
Hardy.
