Product Description

2/3yr old Family Pear tree. Three different varieties of apples have been grafted to the same stem, meaning that you can pick three different varieties - Beth, Beurre Hardy and Concorde - from the same tree. Providing a mixture of pears with different tastes and purposes. Average height 10-12ft. Quince A rootstock

 

Beth: An early-fruiting pear tree with a tight growth habit. It  produces an abundance of pears in September. The pears are pale yellow, sometimes tinged pink with a golden russet. The flesh is creamy white, juicy and sweet.

Beurre Hardy: A dessert pear with russet-red skin and a rosewater scent. The flesh is tender, soft and delicious. The fruit is best picked when still hard in mid September, then ripened indoors.

Concorde: A compact tree which produces heavy crops of sweet and juicy pears. The pears have pale green skin tinged with a golden russet and the flesh is creamy white and firm. Ready in late October and November.

Rootstock: Quince A (semi-dwarfing,10-15ft)
